PARTY PLANNING
How to Plan a Paint-and-Sip Birthday Party

A paint-and-sip birthday is relatively easy to organize because the activity, entertainment, and keepsake are built into the same event.
1. Set your guest count
Get a realistic number before choosing the room setup. Leave enough space for everyone to paint comfortably.
2. Choose the painting
Pick something approachable and visually fun. The best group paintings leave room for people to personalize colors and details.
3. Decide on BYOB and snacks
Confirm the studio’s snack and drink guidelines first, then choose simple options that do not compete with the painting setup.
4. Build a playlist
Music changes the atmosphere more than almost any decoration.
5. Add just a few decorations
A sign, flowers, or coordinated colors are usually enough. Ask the studio about permitted decorations before bringing them; choose battery-operated candles if approved.
6. Plan the photo
At the end, line up everyone with their finished paintings and take one great group shot before people start leaving.
Painting Hangout can help turn your birthday into a private creative night without making you manage every detail.
Private and Mobile events require at least 7 days’ notice. Confirm custom painting, music, food, and decoration requests with the studio in advance.
